Teens have a freedom that leaves them often wondering how to get connected with their passions. They can be hard to connect with as they learn what they enjoy doing, explore new things and develop a new sense of freedom. Studio NPL serves as a place for teens to make friends, work on projects and find out who they are away from their parents and classmates.

Studio NPL offers workshops in music and audio production, photography and design, film and media production, creative writing and more. Its learning labs feature innovative technology tools to produce music and podcasts, photographs and films, 3-D-printed designs, paper circuits, e-textiles, soldering, robotics and more. If you want to wire it up, plug it in or light it up, we have the tools and techniques to expand your electronic knowledge.

Studio NPL offers weekly workshops on YouTube and Zoom featuring 3-D printing, crafting, sewing and more. Virtual workshops are also offered in a one-on-one session in music production through a community partnership with Southern Word. Studio NPL has a partnership with STEM expeditions program that serves almost 2,000 7th grade students through virtual and in-person field trips. Youth employment is also offered through Opp Now and one-on-one mentorship is a key part of the program.
