Anti-LGBTQ+ Vandalism Targets Maryland Libraries During Capital Pride Week

During Capital Pride Week, two branches of Prince George’s County Memorial Library System were targeted with anti-LGBTQ+ graffiti. The library system reaffirmed their commitment to supporting the LGBTQ+ community with Pride at PGCMLS having previously been recognized as part of Urban Libraries Council's Innovation Awards in the anti-racism, equity, diversity, and inclusion category.
